Atmos Dump Valve and Girlfriend don't mix...

Featured Replies

Okay, humble pie time, engine management light is now permanently lit, having come on last night while driving around in light traffic for an hour. Have now changed back to the original dv, does disconnecting the battey reset the management light?
Many thanks for the honest feedback. When the car is hooked up to a VAG-COM or dealer's diagnostic machine, can you report back on any error codes as Jason suggests?

Managment light has now been reset, am going to dealer at some point this week to get a new head unit fitted, will say to them then about it, although won't mention the fact that I had an atmos DV running on it for a week...

what atmos DV was it you had?? im still adimate that the managment light did not come on with the one i posted on here that sits in the intercooler pipe... i still have it if you are desprate for a atmos DV?? you wont have to destroy your intercooler pipe i have already done one for you lol... can help fit if you like.. !

Forge Motorsport GRP A DV was the one I had fitted, spring in it must have been a very soft one because it blew off every time I took my foot off the accelerator, was wondering if maybe that would have had something to do with the light coming on, anyway am now thinking about changing the air filter for an induction kit, not really that keen on atmos dv's, just wanted to try it to see what it sounded like, but can live without...

I have had my bailey dv26 atmospheric on my octy vrs for about 18 months with no noticed problems at all,(the one pictured in a recent post).

But I have to admit I am wanting to change to a dv30 a.s.a.p for piece of mind mainly :o
