BT infinity has a number of packages, including some that provide you with the speed but only allow 20GB per month. You can get truly unlimited downloads without restriction, but you pay for it in the monthly bill.

I'll stick with my Sky broadband unlimited, downloads completely throttle free regardless of whats downloaded in the day, no limits, no traffic shaping etc. Runs at 6.5meg all day long, even if I stream HD over the connection for hours on end.

Updated my settings this morning as advised to see a minimal improvement.

However i think utorrent depends more on the file than on anything else.

Epsiode 2 of the new season of Big Bang Theory downloaded in 18 minutes

Episode 1, which clearly now has less seeds, was on course for 40 minutes

A copy of The Avengers movie was showing 6 days! :D

I've updated my settings but I'm gonna wait 'til around 4is before trying out as that's usually the time from when I see my download speeds drop :S

Not sure about newzbin, but the Pirate Bay blocks are only (forced upon) carried out by ISPs with more than 100,000 customers, so that is BT Retail, Virgin, Talk Talk and Sky; everyone else should still get access.

Interestingly vodaphone don't seem to block it on mobile browsing...and there's a microtorrent remote available on android...

They are paid for although your ISP may do a free one, but the retention of files will be days rather then years, £6.50 a month I pay

I'm tempted to join one of these, looks like astraweb is the way to go.

Astraweb had loads of incompletes and seemed to get slower by the day when I used it.

Now using this one http://www.newsdemon.com/

That does look much better to the eye. i might try the £1.24 for 10gb just to try one out. Anyway i'm going off topic here i'll start a new thread about this!
