Coming Home lights

I/Min = Impulses per minute ie a pulse for every revolution of the engine and as the display only shows eg 15 then it means the actual value is 1500 impulses (revolutions) per minute.

Just done 2,000 miles in France in my Yeti and it went like a dream.

Have you heard of min-1

Industrial chemist? Are you sure? :bandit:

Yes, for 38 years - but seriously, in the normal, average, man in the street car cockpit, who has has heard of 1/min for engine speed :wonder:

Rev/min or rpm -yes. But then again, this is possibly a throwback to teutonic efficiency/competence we seem to lack in the UK nowadays - I like it :giggle:

Look again. It's a 1, not an I.

On topic again, I would like to ask how can I disable "coming/leaving home" function, in order to still have the lights in "AUTO" mode without bothering about battery drain.

I realy don't need that "...home" function, neither used it even once for 11 years in my precedent car ("coming home" only, manualy activated on demand by pressing the light stalk before getting out from the car)

Take note I don't have MAXIDOT, so is there a shortcut or procedure to do so (other than VCDS) like the DRLs activation/deactivation procedure ?

Turn off autolights when arriving home. Turn on autolights when departing.

You never know; it might just work?

Indeed it works ! That's exactly what I'm doing since owning the Yeti - MANUALY turning on the AUTO mode !

If so, what is the use of "AUTO" mode other than auto turning on the lights when entering a tunell or a covered parking !?

So far I understand there isn't a way to unlink "...HOME" feature from the"AUTO" mode, other than VCDS at the service workshop (or tweaking the durration on MAXIDOT - depending on model)
