PDC? 5x_____?

Featured Replies

Have 2 options at the minute

1. Buy some Winter tyres to put on my 17" standard VRS alloys

2. Buy some 16" Steels and purchase some 205/55/16 Winter tyres

I have been told that I will need to know the PDC....is this true and secondly, what is a/the PDC??

I have a 2001 VRS. Possible journey to Slovakia again this Winter, if not need Winter tyres to get in and out of the village for work.

Live in the midlands if any for sale and any advice on Winter Tyres to buy would be appreciated (No more than £120 per tyre tho please)

Mike

Pcd 5x100 (bolt pattern)

You'll also need the correct et (offset)

And the correct hub size, vag is 57.1 mm

And possibly the width, 7j etc

Post what your interested in and we will help

Maybe some bora /mk4 golf steels or 16" wheels would be the best bet

Mike, PCD you need is 5x100. VAG centre bore is 57.1 I have some steelies and alloys in the size you are looking for.

IMHO its always easier with a second of set of wheels & tyres

Drop me a PM if you're interested.

As mentioned above however your center bore is 57.1mm diameter (Offset aftermarket wheel wise not OEM 35-45) PCD 5X100

your bolt type is M14x1.5

If going for the best buy tyre around that money I'd buy Vredestein Wintrac Extreme 94V XL around the £119.99 mark all in if shopping about.

If sticking with 225/45/17's to put on your spiders then Maxxis MAPW 94V XL for the same money around £119.99 mark all in fitted etc.......

Have a look Im sure there'll be a few others with more opinions of winter tyres too
