HTP 2005 Nightmare

Featured Replies

Hi Colleagues!

I've been dealing with a nightmare. At the garage found fissure in the motor block and when it was finally repaired (sharpened and refilled the fissure) the mechanic couldnt find the pistons replacements (Here in Dominican Republic couldnt be found).

So I decided to buy a new (used) block... when it was finally installed and tested, the same day the car was delivered, I suffered another failure from the damn car (pardon my french).

Could please help to identify the issue? First the car present a difficult start of the engines, then the motor started to sound a Volkswagen Beetle from 1960... When I press the break the car stop working (turned off inmediately), then when a tried to start it againg it was very difficult.

The mechanic thought at first that was a Crank sensor failure, but then he told me that wasnt the problem. Now he believe that should a pistong ring issue.

Now knowing the symptons, could you please confirm the possible issues...

PLEASE HELP! I BELIEVE FREDDIE KRUEGER VISITED MY CAR.
