Just had a thought...I have some Bilt Hamber Surfex HD, would that be good to wipe over before I re-polish?

BTW...I would say a month at best for that sealer before it will need redoing

I've had my EGP on for 3 months now and it's still beading just fine, last time I think I managed to egg about 5-6 months out of it by topping it up with a fresh layer after about 3.5 months.

You can probably tell by now that I'm not a fan off autoglym polishes and sealers..but aghdw is very good

Well I've got loads left so I'd be learning to love it if I didn't already like it :giggle: Might try Carlack68 to replace the SRP though, any particular polishes you can recommend for handworking that are good at sorting the dreaded swirls? Seriously thinking about getting a random orbital in future, but out of my budget for now.

A good hand polish is Gtechnik P1....but its hard work by hand

If youre willing to travel..I can do it properly with a machine polisher

Decent machine polisher can be had for 70-80 quid, not that hard to use either.

Of course then you tend to need loads of products, backing plates, pads and you end up spending lots more.

Chris, what about my suggestion that I use a lick of Bilt Hamber Surfex HD before I re-polish what I've apparently messed up?

You dont need to use Surfex...Just re-polish that area
