Hi folks....

Just taken delivery of my new Skoda Octavia SE Connect Estate having traded in my 54 plate VW Passat.

Lovely motor! Fits like a glove! GREAT value!

Got my detachable towbar fitted with 13 pin OEM style electrics......

All ready to tow now!

I'll keep you posted if any problems!

Thanks for the welcome!Having now towed, I can confirm that the OE electrics still work the trailer lights even though I haven't had the recoding done yet.I guess the recoding will disable the reversing sensors when a trailer is attached.... it may also activate a fog cut-out switch but I'm not sure that it does much else.RegardsBonyTony.

Looking at petrol kodiaq, skoda tells me the CAMBELT is not a service item Are they belts or chains and surely belts need changing?

Hi all, long time since I've been on here as touch wood have been enjoying many issue free miles in my Octavia. Last week whilst returning home from a local trip I suddenly got a warning light and a chime, Error: ABS/stabilisation control (ESC) several second later I got another, Error: Tyre Pressure Monitoring System several seconds later, another... Hi all, I'm trying to get at the lower radiator hose in my 2016 Octavia. I've looked on google and found that I should remove the seven t25 screws. 5 on the bumper splash shield and one on each side connected to the fender. The shield seems loose, but it won't come off and I don't want to try and pry it too much as I'm concerned that I'll crack it. Can someone tell me what additional screws, or maybe clips, need to be removed to get this off? many thanks for all info
