Anyone use a Brodit Phone holder?

Featured Replies

Fed up of My new S3 Flying around...

So I fancy a Brodit holder... And I can't decide between the Console mount and the vent mount.

Has anyone else got one?

I keep looking at them but they look a bit costly. Could be useful though as I can play back music through bluetooth and charge my phone!

i had one for my s2 in the vent and ended up breaking the vent it was sat on i think from the wieght bouncing about. it didnt snap it in half it snapped the small lug that sit in the sides that move the angle.

I use them, i like the vent mount personally as it's handy if i need to use the phone as a sat nav. I've used them for about 4+ years now, it was after reading good things about them here on briskoda that i got one. I've used them on my old n95, Blackberry, htc desire hd and now on my galaxy s3.

I have the console mount for my Galaxy S3 and the active cradle attached on my Octy

I have a Brodit Dash Mount for my Bury Hands Free Kit

First class fixture, I would imagine the phone holder will be as good

I have two fitted in the Roomy. Great bits of kit.

I don't like the idea of a vent mount as it obscures the vent. Also if you're blowing them on hot, even if that vent is closed, you'll be heating up your device.

Had an iPhone one for the last 3 years. Vent mounted - got it in the middle over the Hazard switch. Heaters blow either side so don't really affect it, or you can point them at the back of the phone and put air-con on cold and it's basically an ice block. (was useful when using TomTom on the 3Gs as it used to become a small nuclear powered heating element). Makes using the hazards slightly harder, but I find I never really use them that much anyway and means I get all the vents when I need them.

Also I found my 4s fits in the 3G mount fine (has a dock connector mounted which helps), so never bothered upgrading the holder too. But was all ready to fork out as they're a fantastic piece of kit.

I have the same mount as Mort for my Iphone. Well worth the money!

They fit around your vents instead of hanging off them like cheaper phone holders and leave no trace of it when removed.

I wouldnt consider any over phone holder :)
