That's pretty much the route I took although still haven't got round to fitting the Cupra splitter. Get some decent carnauba wax on there and it will look awesome.

Here you go buddy - http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/41133-guide-how-to-fit-leon-front-splitter/

Doesn't look too bad to fit, it's a 2 man job I would imagine to make it look good.

I went for Dodo Juice Purple Haze but if I was you I'd go for a brand new product called Angelwax Dark Angel designed specifically for black cars. Supposed to be awesome. http://www.bearswaxfactory.co.uk/angelwax-dark-angel-200ml-complete-with-applicator-and-microfibre-465-p.asp

Might have to give it a go this weekend then. Is it just a few clips and screws that old it in place?

Yeah good idea, the panel pot should last for 3-4 goes anyway. Detailing is addictive though, before long you'll be claying and all sorts! The Dodo Supernatural Micro Prime is really good for polishing out finer scratches. Let us know how you get on mate.
