VRS on steels?

Featured Replies

I bought a set of 16" steels from the classifieds on Tue, and they are absolutely mint (thanks domhnall)

I am going to get my tyres switched over from the OEM alloys on Sat as I fancy rocking the poverty spec look for a while on the Fabia.

Just gotta put a few layers of Poorboys Wheel Sealant tomorrow night.

Anyone got any photos of VRS on steels so I can get an idea of how they will look?

Cheers.

Thanks guys, appreciated!

I knew there'd be some about, Google Search doesn't show many at all, & certainly not as cool as these ones!

With some wheel trims :)

Well I got them fitted today and really chuffed!

Bought some round VW wheelnut covers yesterday to help finish things off.

Poverty spec rawks!

(Looks very much like yours above Grr666!)

I quite like the look of them on a nice set of clean steels, I think it adds to the sleeper look.

The other half, however, is not so keen. According to her, it makes me look like I can't afford alloys!

My steels will be going on soon no doubt, with the grotty weather coming in, whether she likes it or not!

Unless used to mount a set of winter tyres on i dont really get the steels thing...

The standard vrs alloys dont corrode in the winter etc...

Saying this tho banded steels can look good with the right widths n tyres...

Nice to see them getting used rather than sitting in the garage
