I'll get flamed for saying it, but what has the title "Oh my God" got to do with the proposed 7 seat Yeti? I realize it's almost obligatory to include the phrase in to virtually every sentence at every opportunity and that people use it not realizing that, for some, with religious inclinations, it seems somewhat inappropriate but on this occasion it has nothing to do with the topic and doesn't attract other readers to read about the LWB Yeti.

Oldstan, if the title of the Topic is an issue and your question is aimed at Night Owl, wouldn't it have been better to make your comment via a PM direct to Night Owl and keep it between you and him?

Well since accodring to Skoda EU the only place that a LWB Yeti is going to be sold is China, I take the whole thing with a HUGE pinch of salt.

There have been various Photoshop abominations floating around lately.

And agree, the title is meaningless!

As part of my job I have access to a lot of automotive industry information and foresights. The intelligence I have read says, as stated above, that there is a LWB Yeti slated for China, that there is a likely facelift due in 2013 and that this model is due for replacement in 2016.

As for thread titles, putting aside religious sensitivities, it's hardly a thread title that gives any clue as to the topic of the thread... an annoyance I agree with, but suffer (mostly) in silence.

I agree, an information free title recycling old news.

In response , Unless Skoda dealers have started photoshop lessons on their instore computers I have no reason to disbelieve my own eyes.

As stated it is proposed, no suggestion of definate.

On the Skoda Facebook page there have been at least 3 computer generated pictures of supposed Yeti's, some over 12 months old and all previously published by Autoblid, but nothing has actually been posted by Skoda EU or from a dealership, as far as I can see.

And since Photoshop is so widely circulated, along with many other photo-manipulation programmes, I don't see what a dealership has to do with it. I have seen Photoshop work by 16 year olds doing a Photography GCSE that would put many of the previously published "stuff" to shame.

We know that a LWB Yeti was proposed, but as I and others have said, this is for the Chinese market only. Skoda EU stated in a Press Release, linked to here previously, that they had no plans to market it in the West.

Yes the photo of DA X 6350 is of the same model shown to me by the Skoda salesman on his computer, in his showroom whilst paying for my new Octavia.

Hopefully the demand may bring it in in time for my next changeover unfortunately the Yeti will be missed but it's just not long enough and I cant be bothered with roof racks etc.

If you follow that whole video to the end you will see that it was produced by a single designer and is nothing to do with Skoda. That particular "picture" is of a Tiguan from the A post back, with a Rapid front "stitched" on to the front. All done in Photoshop, and as said, not particularly well.
