Hi guys,

my fog lights were stolen last night, from yellow vrs, grill bits are gone a swell. Right wing is off (as not aligned) - about month ago this happened with right wing and I thought somebody hit me when parking. But now I understand they tried to steal them fogs before and probably were disturbed. Do they fit other volkswagen group cars?

Damn it, does anyone know how much is roughly replacement cost? I reckon it will need new wiring as well. Thinking about just covering it - like you see on non vrs models, anyone knows part number?

The round lights are common to other cars yes. I think Lupo for one. But there are plenty of fabias that use them too, not just the vRS. I think all fogs post 2005/06 are thr round type.

its not just Fabia's, the same round fog lights are fitted to my Audi A8

Sorry to hear about your car but I'm of the belief that

the main dealers are to partially blame for this. A pair of foglights

for that car comes in at well over £100 from Skoda.

But there's no way that that's what they cost to make and at

£25 each I guarantee they'll still be making money from them

but still they deem it fit to charge £58 each last time I checked.

The price of them should have come down when Fabia 2

came out IMO.

(Vrs foglights won't fit other Fabias btw, they fasten from above

rather than from the front like the facelift non vRS fabias.)

The round ones use for the VRS are different to the polo + standard fabia facelift..

They are both round and the same size but the lugs where the screws go in are in different places

I learnt the hard way after ordering 3 sets advertised as fitting fabia facelift + VRS off ebay from various dif companys. They have now changed there ad to say will NOT fit VRS..

Is this one of those thinks like fiesta zetec s and st front bumpers??? Easy to remove so people nick em or a one off because If this is the case I will be glueing mine up cant afford 100+£ for the fogs plus hat ever for the grills... Might just remove em n store em lol
