Skoda Octavia Mk2 Cruise Control etc

Featured Replies

Still currently fitted to a car i'm breaking.

Its a 2006 Mk2 Octavia VRS Estate with only 63600miles.

The cruise control is a great addition to any car and you'll wonder how you managed without it!

This will fit most, if not all, engine types whether diesel or petrol.

If you don't have a steering column module of sufficient spec. then you will also need the module too.

It's relatively plug & play - you may just need to enable the feature in your CECM which I can also arrange for £20 extra.

The two column switches (cruise left and wipers right) will come included, and also the column module for £80.

Hi I have a octavia vrs tdi 2.0 2006 hatchback, will this go straight in? Will I need the module etc?

Thanks

Rich.

Hi Rich.

The module is needed to expand the features of the steering wheel and stalks.

You *might* not need it, however I would need to know the exact part number including suffix letter as there are lots of different versions.

They have also changed the features of these over the years of production - it's far from an easy question to answer without the part number.

If you have vag-com, you can scan all your modules and find the part number this way.

Let me know and i'll check for you?

Cheers

Ok there is a forum user right near me with vag-com so I will check, also the electric window switch buttons on drivers side door of mine are peeling, do you have a set from this car that have not been scratched or peeled?

Hi Rich

My switches are 99% ok.

A tiny bit of a scratch on leading edge of two front switches but they are very presentable in general

Rich

How much for the door card too? I have a big dent in mine! Is it in good condition?

Hi.

The 1k0 part number is the stalk. Thats a non-cruise version.

To find the module part number you need to look underneath.

See some pics on an online "how to" on uk-mkivs....
