Just come back from a weekend break to Bute in Scotland. On the way up Saturday morning, noticed a white Rapid coming up behind me in rear view mirrors; on an Oxford DVLA 62 plate, so bound to be SUK.

Would have liked to get more of a look at her but the pilot was driving beyond my comfortable speed envelope when they overtook me .

First impression from my prospective very favourable, particularly in white; probably one of Skoda's best looking cars since the old Rapid Coupe.

Noticed a red 62 plate Rapid parked up at the bottom of Cheddar Gorge on Sunday

Cannot remember the whole reg began with O (possibly OY) and obviously a 62 and in candy white. To busy looking at the car plus road ahead to take in anything else

Spotted a silver one on the opposite carriageway in Ballymena on Saturday, saloon I think.

UK press launches this week, so expect to see a few. That gaggle of 10 sounds like a press release fleet.

I saw one in my dealers showroom today, have to say it looks brilliant in the flesh. Was a silver SE and definately made the Octavia next to it look dowdy. Interior is massive especially that boot which is vast.

If there were any eagle eyed people around the Windsor area this week you may have spotted a convoy of 6 - 7 Rapids, followed by some Kia Cee'ds and i30's.
