Ned why bother. Maybe it is just me but I have voice control on my L&K it is very much hit and miss and by the time I get it do what I asked for I am almost at my destination. I also find it a distraction due to it's complexity and it takes my attention from the road. Other noise in the car can also make it difficult to understand what you are asking it. Two years on and I have not used it since month 2 of ownership. I love technology and enjoy having the new toys and gadgets but only if they work for me rather than me having to work at it. Consequently , assist parking used twice to show off, grandson loved it ( well he was 4 at the time and found it enjoyable watching the steering wheel go round with out me touching it ).

Of course there maybe a member on this site who is prepared to give us old bods a few lessons on the voice control :0)

You're right.  I have a new model now which HAS voice control and it's rubbish. 

Mine is a late 2008 model and it works on mine - played with it when I first got the car and have never used it since
