it is a 90 from the egr onto a 45 metal pipe, 45 silicone, straight sensor pipe, 45 silicone, 90 metal then a 45 silicone to the cooler. i bought it all from ash as they give good lengths but some needed cutting down abit to get it to sit just right.

your a star! im using ash for all my pipework too. already got the sensor pipe from forge.

cheers agaain!

no problem. just have a play with them twisting to get the right angles and it will all eventually line up perfect.

Just another pipe question..

From the cooler to the turbo, does that go back behind the radiator?

  • Author

Yes mate it does.

Let me know if you're down Cardiff way any time mate,in wanna hear this exhaust! See if it sounds like mine did lol

Also took the oil filler extension off aswell, but now it locks sideways.

Get a silicone hose for the pipe to the airbox mate, a black one to match your CCV mod, would look better :)

Only just read through all of this. It's been a journey! Worth it all in the end mind :)!

Exterior/interior plans?

I have a few ideas in mind but this has rinsed me for the moment. Wheels will be the main thing, i think the right set of wheels can transform the car. Going to do a few free of charge things like de bump strip and badge, but the whole front end could do with a respray really.

Great car, enjoyed the read so far. Where did you get your turbo from, was thinking about the same turbo as I'm only wanting around the 200bhp mark?

I got it from dirty-torque in shrewsbury, very pleased with it and good price to.

Spent the afternoon removing the bump strips, i think it makes it look alot cleaner. I did have a nice flake of paint come off the one front door though :( car needs a respray so im not massively bothered.

Bought two tyres online today so i will have my new wheels on hopefully this weekend :)

Also just to keep it up to date i moved the plate to the centre as i didnt think it sat right on the side.

Wanted it to be easily removed at shows etc to get the full effect.

Looks good mate :)

10x better in the middle!

Looks good!

Looks good Joe! Is that a standard width plate on there?

  • Author

no its the 3/4 thats was on the side. im tempted to buy vrs private plate with 2 digits at the start just run full size letters but cut the width down. alot of money just for that though lol.
