Joe is using the same steels that you find as your spare wheel :)

Fair play Joe the car looked good at the mega meet, love the wheels and the huge air filter and also your wrapped dash vents. Good work.

Thanks mate, nice to hear. You will have to pull your finger out for the next one to edge ahead of me :D seriously though yours was looking very clean and theres nothing better than a smart example of car in oem+ form.

Sooo ended up winning best mk1 fabia of the show today at the mega meet. Very happy and has brought the love back for the fab except for the failing flywheel :D just want to thank everyone who was judging and all the friendly guys i met today for making it an even better day.

Also stopped off for a few snaps under the old severn bridge.

My valeo solid flywheel and clutch turned up today and jeeees is it heavy. Never thought something that size can weigh so much.

Fitting on sat for a total of £40, good to have friends in the right places.

Shoulda got Sachs race, 7 kilos ftw!!!

Wait until you feel how heavy the DMF is.  ;)   What is the official weight of the solid flywheel?  Is it meant to be like for like for the DMF (in weight terms only?)

  • Author

I'm unsure Jason, im going to weigh them both for comparison.

If only josh if only.

Also my for sale thread has been deleted after regaining the love after the mega meet. So will be back in a month I expect :D

Flywheel and clutch done today and first impressions is no different to a dmf, with this flywheel it is silent not a slight chatter on idle atall.
