Cant beat a SDI even better when a bit of sunflower oil is added to the tank

Also a big  on the SDI front. Did you manage to get one that has a £100 a year Tax vs £120?

As "Bodie" says the SDI loves Sunflower Oil...it also makes mine a bit quieter!

Check my Fuelly signature for my real world mpg. ;)

I run about 50:50 of Tescos finest at £1.00 a litre with diesel. Lose about 2mpg but still overall 59+ mpg over 7 years and 80000 miles.

i gave £900 for my wifes 2002 52 reg fabia sdi classic this time last year and it had no service history, i put disks pads and a service kit and a timing belt on it straight away and since then i put some mk4 golf alloy wheels on it and thats it really.. it drives well, handles well and she does over 60mpg in it all the time! there is a big difference between my vrs and her sdi in performance but her car is for economy not track days! when this one is spent i will either buy another sdi or a 1.4tdi as they are cheaper on the road tax and i believe just as economical.

I also have a sdi estate amazing car i love it. Would like a little more power for when on my own but for my work (window cleaner) kid, wife and dogs taxi it is amazin.
