What A Day !!!

Featured Replies

A huge personal thanks to Ian and Colin for organising yesterday and to everyone for making such a great day.

Well..............their were highs (Mr Lucky & Tavia RS - Flying 18 meters)

Lows - 2 Sumps ripped off - I think you can guess who. :trackday:

Mr Lucky U need a name change pretty desperately.

Well it rained and rained and rained but the excitement was not in anyway dampened, on the contrary. :driving:

The route that we took was wicked, like Huck and I were discussing, the RS really does handle, particularly well in the wet. I for one am well impressed!!! :thumb:

We even got a mince pie for our troubles and a bag of sweets (cheers Colin & Brian!!) :bup:

The adrenalin from the day was still pumping when I got home. Needless to say it took me a while to get off to sleep. Probably explains why I'm so bloody knackered now - uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrhhhhhhhhhhh!!

I don't think I will forget the sight of 15 RS's parked atop a hill on the Yorkshire moors in a sweeping curve, priceless!!!!!!!!

Well, roll on the next one. :auto: :auto: :auto:

I hope Mr Lucky and Tavia RS U R both ok. Sorry we didn't get to see you off!! :(

Wot? No 4x4s?

For those of us who weren't able to make it, any picis? The sight of so many RSs must have been worth a photo or few?

Roll on a Southern meet

Whoops sorry Ian and Colin make that 13 Rs's and 2 4x4's. I think of them as RS's cause they are so damn quick, if not quicker!!

John - U R a confirmed nutter of the highest order.

P.S Can I blag a couple of tickets for the jump over the Wall of China?

P.S.S. Aparrently Des's Rubber Chicken is going to attempt the same stunt on Mr Lucky's Hayabussa !!!

I scrounged a digital camera from a relative, so I managed to get quite a few photos. I think Colin took a lot as well. There are lots of them, so I'll probably put a little page together for them and post a link to it.

I'll also have a few pictures for Manny's site at last!

that would be excellent rob. i hope the pics do the reality justice - it really was a great site with a great backdrop! and just think, we were sadly 2 cars down at that point.

when we pulled out of there, the sight of all the cars streaming on to the road from their parked, 'formation' is something that i'll remember for a long while. awesome! :auto: :auto: :auto: :auto: :auto: :auto: :auto: :auto: :auto: :auto: :auto: :auto: :auto: :auto: :auto:
