Seat Leon cupra seats nearly fitted

Featured Replies

Well got some leather seats from a Leon cupra back seats in with a little fettling and adjustment and added rear brace..

Front passenger done by transferring base and back over to Fabia base.. Bit of a fiddle and faff on but defnitly doable with a little trial hands on approach and fettling

Great stuff! Pics When you can Please!

Nice one

Thanks guys well for £80 worth the try it's actually quite easy back don't line up to catches about 4" too low but taking that away and adding a brace a doddle but plan on lowering the genuine mount tommorrow..

As for the front they were electric and was going to wire them up but instead would rather have manual as 1 less thing to go wrong transferred the base and back over to my base and gaining a little extra width/ comfort and a massive bonus of adjustable back support :)

I'll post up pics tommorrow as soon as I've done the drivers and a how to guide for anyone wanting to do it as for the couple of extra hours work ( and that's having 3 kids and my tea inbetween) it's worth it as you can pick them seats up for hundreds cheaper ..

A how to guide to follow tommorrow step by step for members :)

Fitted the fronts no problem. How did you fit the rears in the end?

I have some Golf GT TDi seats look lovely in the car, just need the rears in! They are too long!

I looked at two options, welding an extension for the clips or reupholstering.

Reupholstering was the cheapest, safest and easiest by far! £70 for by back bench to be reupholstered, both sections. Bases i just bent the wire to fit

I dont have the standard rear bench. So another option is how I am going to have to go!
