Flaps On Flaps Off..........?

Featured Replies

I was thinking about removing my flaps, but my bodyshop mate said leave them as they were due to stonchip protection.

I notice when pulling off in the wet from a corner, the water shoots up past the side windows so I guess it would be far worse without them.

this is true don't understand why not all of the vrs's have the front ones :)

I had to buy and fit my own when I first got the car, I don't think fronts are standard fitment

Cool, I'll accept when I get chance, it's usually the nipper on there watching films lately, I don't get a look in !!

Got an idea, do you know the protective film you can get for front bumpers, the clear stuff.

Put some of the behind the bit where the mudflap touches the paint. No rubbing!

When I had my old tdi in summer I took the flaps off but it winter I re fitted them due to all the salt and stones mind you my flaps used to scrape on the floor going uphill with the 15" winter wheels on hehe :)
