Difference between BLT& ASZ engined Fabia ?

Featured Replies

Hello,

Could any one tell me the difference between the BLT & ASZ engined car's ? I assume it is down to just the engine?

Is there any other difference between the earlier and later Fabia 1 ?

The asz is from the earlier car not as powerful but more reliable it seems! The blt is in the face lifted car different rear lights n that usually bit more pokey some cases have seen 150bhp on a standard car, other than that pretty much the same

Yeah, mine has no engine mods, is a BLT engine and pushes 157BHP!

Also a few interior changes in the facelift / BLT model.

The only difference regarding the engine is a different EGR valve (which is what causes most of the "reliability" differences)...

And a different standard map of the ECU..

As said in many a thread tho.. once re-mapped the asz + blt engined cars will get the same figures (bhp)

ASZ has a battery cover most BLT's don't :wall:

I wish mine didnt have a battery cover... there crap.. nasty plastic.. untidy + the little lugs that its swings open on always snap off.. :(

I'll have it!

It looks so undity and unfinished without a cover.
