Don't quite know how to approach it if keeping the OEM stub on the airbox. A smooth pipe would work well IMO (as the MAF tube becomes the limiting factor - also IMO). Quite how you make it cone shaped and smooth and fit in limited space is a good question.

PS: Bet the Roomster's more space under the bonnet, based on the Golf floorpan.

Yes i read a few things that guy done earlier funny enough, im going to use flexi pipe to start for shape and length then make a smooth pipe once i know the lengths and angles to work from.
