  • Just bought this. vRS will be family car. This will be my fun/track car. Loving the AWD.

  • Mate that is awesome. Love it. If i had space to do something like that and not need it for a daily drive i would...

  • What complements the Oct VRS but the Fabia VRS ;-) and I swore I would never own a Skoda... Failed on that one BIG time

Latest shape BMW 116d Efficent Dynamics 5dr

And 2001 E39 BMW 525i SE saloon which I'm looking to change for circa 2005 Octavia Elegance or L & K 1.9 or 2.0TDi prefer Estate but suspect budget will dictate Hatch (circa £4k with sensible miles)

My wife's car is a jazz sport. I am the one who cleans it and its my name on the log book although her name is on mine (don't ask) but the next cars will have the right names on them

In addition to the Octavia TSI FL, a Fabia TSI VRS and a SV650S m/c, Octy is the most practical for long journeys and lots of kit but the Fabia VRS is more fun and the m/c even more so when dry.

All bargains to buy and not too bad to run though 140 p a litre is much more painful than 90p a litre that it was 3 years ago!

BMW 116ed (2 month old company car in Valencia orange, sorry to the forum but its fantastic).

BMW Z4 Coupe 3.0 si (My toy, the handling is much better since ditching the run flats and 18" alloys for 17" alloys, it's a great but I still haven't bonded with it fully).

Octavia II 2005 1.9 tdi manual L&K, black with cream leather, 145,000 but near mint, ours from new, going the BCA auction in Peterborough early Jan 2013 as we picked up yesterday:

Octavia II facelift 1.9 tdi manual Elegance, light blue, 46K, after only 155 miles I love it, 59.3 mpg and I wasn't even trying! My wife's car now.
