Slippy clutch :(

Featured Replies

I think ive possibly got a slipping clutch the symptoms are when changing gear and accelerating the revs go up but the speed lags the biting point is also right at the top

is it single or dual mass?

could anybody suggest a good clutch thats reasonably priced

any help would be appreciated

you have a dual mass flywheel...but everyone says, and I agree ,a single mass flywheel conversion is the best option, and cheap.

So you can search for it

Yes that's right

thankyou ...

i have found one on ebay for £180 posted for a sachs kit with flywheel and clutch

does that seem a good price ?

That sounds quiet cheap altho i bought a genuine flywheel from skoda and paid surcharge

i agree but its 25% off that price so 150 just a mad idea but that valeo one seems a bargain cheers for the link

NP, I reckon it would be better to get the better one, save shelling out in future.

Yes however Id go for the Valeo one. Or Sachs

This is cheaper?

I dont think so, pretty sure they are all based on the same kit. Unless someone knows otherwise!
