High mileage, but running strong.

I have had my Octavia.elegance diesel 3 years and mileage now reads 247,124, and is still running strong engine management light has been on last 12 months (egr) issue, but has no effect on the performance. Just yesterday ABS light stayed on as well as the anti skid light may be a relay, any ideas..?

Without reading fault codes its anyones guess, needs plugging in.

I would take it to a dealer and they can plug in and see what's wrong.

Hi all, I've had my mk4.5 Octavia vRS for almost 3 weeks and while I find it to be a great car overall, there's some things that are a bit annoying. Lane assist: I understand what it's trying to do but the implementation seems flawed so it's a good thing it's easy to switch off. I had forgotten to turn it off today though and while driving down a road which is wide enough for two cars but only if you stick to the edge of the road, the lane assist kept trying to push me closer to the centre. My skoda octavia 2.0L diesel has high oil consumption. It has no leaks and rocker cover replaced so that includes PCV valve replaced Uses approx10 or 12 litres between services. Engine has good power. Is the rings an issue here

Hi Everyone, I am a Lady driver who owns a Skoda Yeti (best car I have every had) since 2011. I live in France and recently, we have had weeks of 38 to 40 degrees everyday. It is horrendous. The last five days, I have had the following warning lights appear on the dashboard : ABS, Electronic Stability Programme, Tyre Pressure. Hello, after managing sucesfully on enabling Lane assistance I now get a error when doing auto scan in vcds saying 5F was coded incorrecty. Everything in the car works great and no issues have been noticed during this error. Would anyone be do kind in helping me figuring out what the issue is?
