Hi All

My name is Dave and I live in Hertfordshire and I am looking for a Skoda Octavia Estate TDI any help and tips will be appreciated I have a budget of £1K to £2K for the right car! I will modify her over time but in my leisure and with my own little touches as i am capable of doing that and i have been modifying my Toyota MR2 turbos now for about 6 years.

I plan to do a small amount of gardening work out of the boot as well as travelling about 1000 miles a month

hi and welcome for 2k you should be able to get an 04 plate, 1k will afford you a w - 51plate estate diesel.

The alh 90bhp is most reliable, then the 110bhp, next in line is the Pd 130 - lots more power but mpg takes a hit. I would go 110bhp for reliability/grunt

I dont know if your fans of Jap cars but here are some pics of my old mr2s which i modified too

my first one running about 240bhp

my second one non turbo running about 180bhp

my current one running at the moment 245bhp but will be about 320bhp for the summer

all of these i done 95% of the work myself
