hi there,just wondered if anyone knows what the cause of my intermittent air recirculation is?? my air con needs regassing but i don't think this will affect this?? any help would be appreciated.

I had this problem which was sort of fixed when I replaced the vacuum hose due to being broke.

Since the cold weather has set in it doesnt seem to work in the morning but does once upto temperature so may be related ?

Thanks for your reply,that's kinda what's happening with mine..where about's is the vacuum hose,and is it easily accessible??

Approx 1 o'clock at the back of the bay.

"Brake servo vacuum pipe" should help you locate a picture or more info mate.

As in the air re-circulation comes on intermitently?

If ur refering to re-circ coming on when in reverse... then this is normal.

If not then what are u refering to?

Hi, it's just the air recirculation not working when stationary..not when reversing.did work but now only intermittantly??

Probably the motor sticking.. if u remove the glovebox u will see the motor/ flap.. see if anything is restricting it. Clean it + see if u can free it off

Dosent it work the same as the aircon and will only work at above 6 degrees. I noticed mine has stopped using circulation when i reverse off the drive in the morning. The car is ment to put on recuirculation when you reverse to stop pulling exhust gasses into the cabin.
