Any problems with DEPO projectors

Featured Replies

Morning all,

Looking into getting a set of the depo projector lights of wingmirrorwoman on fleabay. Has anyone had any problems of any sort regarding the lights themselves?

Have tried searching, but not found anything,

Cheers, Mike

Not a thing with mine.

How long have you had them fitted mate?

Cheers

Mine are perfect, better beam pattern than my mates new Audi A4 with Bi-Xenon's. One of the best mod's for the fabia if you do a lot of driving! Had mine fitted for nearly a year now.

Have seen these :p but I bet they will of sold by the time I have found out if my MOT place will pass me :/ Pretty sure they will, but just want to make sure first (Y)

I've heard problems about the motors to adjust the headlight angle being awkward to swap over from the old lights to the new ones.

Never had them myself though.

It's easy as ****, there's an open side on the bracket. Most people don't realise this. I can swap the whole lot over in 30mins as I have to for MOT

I got a pair back in Feb and love them. I've had one small issue with one lens appearing to have a series of small cracks eminating from the top, and spreading down the lens. It seems a one-off and wingmirrorwoman / man has been excellent with customer service getting a replacement to me. Its at home now waiting to fit. Had to pay for it in short term, but will get a refund when I send the defective unit back.

As for performance, they are spot on!

How come you have to swap yours? Did you fail with them in?

I know there is a lot of confusion surrounding HID kits etc :S

I think it's to do with the testing over in NI

As above, mine have been spot on. Had them around a year now. Easy to swap the motor over too.

If only shed offer another group buy with a decent saving!

Well, I paid £184.99 for the pair, and got a single one sent to me for £92.50 just now. So I would imagine the current price is the price from the group buy? :)

She/he is selling for £109.99 each now

They must have simply quoted me half of what I originally paid for the pair then, which is fair enough. Hopefully they can still do a £185 all-in price for people?

I bought a pair about a month ago and if you message them before had they will do them at £184.99 for the pair. :)

No problems with mine. One of my favorite mods, they are so much better at night.

NI interpret the rules differently unfortunately so I must have headlight washers and self levelling to pass despite the pattern being perfect Etc i wouldn't let this put you off as I don't think I've seen any in the mainland fail.

No problem with mines.
