Seat height

Featured Replies

Good afternoon,

I dont know if I'm the only one that feels this but having gone from a Bora to my Fabia VRs, which I love, I find when I'm driving I have the seat on the lowest setting but feel like I'm sat 'on' the car and not 'in' the car.

I would love to know if theres any other seats that could maybe let me go lower or if anyone suffers from this too and knows a way of solving it?

I found the same issue with my Ibiza Tdi so I bought a cobra bucket seat which sits very low and weighs 20 kg less than std seat. Not as flexible or comfortable as std seat but better for brisk motoring around a twisty road or track especially when I use my harness.

I still regularly do 640 mile one hit trips to Germany with only the aid of a cushion so comfort is acceptable.

Ah fair enough, didnt really want to go that route as it gets used as a family car really. Was hoping for something a bit more standard

I prefer sitting higher up. Probably because it makes by aging unfit body easier to get in and out of the car :-)
