Just wanted to ask what everyone thought the vRS engine would go on to in terms of mileage?

Obviously with a good owner and looked after.

How long is a piece of string? Seen cabs with 1/4 of a million miles on. Look after it and there's no reason for it to give up.

the engine will go on for miles, its the bits attached to it that go first. The turbo and the dmf being the big 2. Each cost £500+ to replace and generally last about 100K miles.

I am on 108k at the mo and no major issues so far!

120k and no problems yet still runs and plays like 50k
