As title want to make up my own fmic using a twinpass ebay cooler and 2" pipework will that be suffient also using forge map sensor port .. question what diamater is the 90 degree bend at the egr and what diamator is the 1 from the turbo .,.. also i see alot of people saying about flared pipework do i have to use this and if so where do i get that pipework thanks

It's a good idea to flare the ends of the pipes so the clips have something to work against otherwise they could slide off quite easily. When I did my own fmic setup on my Octavia I got my brother to make me a tool to bead the ends of the pipework.

I think I still have the tool somewhere, god knows where though, still haven't unpacked everything sice I moved house in May.

I used ash for all my pipe work for flared metal pipes and all my silicone.

With the turbo pipe if you are going all the way to it you will need a turbo adaptor and the 90 bend to that will be 51mm.

Egr pipe, have you got an egr delete going on aswell? If so they will be 57mm if not you will have to buy another adaptor but i have no experience with that.

Josh started a group buy for the top boost pipe in the engine bay. I will try find a link now.

Its a blt engine unsure wether to get an egr delete for it lol mite not go right to the turbo then ill just go to pipe b4 it cheers em any 1 any idea where to buy already flared pipe?
