JJ, what was the cost of your cluster please? Just wondering if its something I could do in the future or just wait and get a car with maxidot next time

Is it possible to have the Maxidot from a Passat (on a 2011 FL octavia) ? The one with full color and so on ?

I asked this question on another forum and no one replied at that time. It was about 6-7 months ago.

this is a good sign that its working! I don't mind the VW boot screen.

Just had a maxidot retrofitted and had to go that route as, although it was a brand new cluster, the immobiliser refused to accept it

Hi Al. How much did retrofit cost and where in uk did you get it done? Just put a deposit down for new Monte Carlo diesel, but no maxidot, and local skods dealer says they cannot do retrofit. Any advice most appreciated. Regards, Steve

Hi Eddie. Been reading your retrofit posts with much interest.. I have just put down a deposit on a new Monte Carlo Tech diesel, Comes with satnav and bluetooth, but no maxidot, only ordinary trip computer. Cannot add any extras to the car, and local Skoda dealer says they cannot do retrofit. Looking for any advice. Really taken with maxidot..but should I forget about it? Regards, Steve
