Floppy rear view mirror

Featured Replies

Our Roomster's rear view mirror is very floppy. It makes it easy to move around, but a pain in the bum when you need to change to 'night vision' mode as it needs two hands to do so.

Has anyone else experienced this, and have any nice tips of how to tighten it up a bit?

Cheers :)

Dave

A different solution for your problem: fit some really dark tinting foil to the rear window, and then you don't need the 'night vision' mode anymore :giggle: This actually works very fine for me.

Unfortunately I don't have any tips for the loose rear mirror.

I don't think there's a way to tighten them. Maybe you need a replacement. Should be cheap enough second hand.
