Miltek downpipe

Featured Replies

Hi all. I have just ordered a miltek de cat downpipe from the lovely guys at Awesome GTI. My question is does it fit directly to the oem exhaust or only to the rest of a miltek exhaust?

Think it comes with a reducer, not sure as I don't have one.

Sure someone with one will be able to confirm.

How much was it? Cheers

I believe it has to be fitted with their system.

No reducer is supplied

However, the Piper decat does. We fitted one to Nosmokenopoke's car. It is extremely good quality and fits well to the standard system using supplied reducer...wish I got this one!

That's it new one of them came with a reducer!

My Scorpion exhaust's a bit smaller than my Miltek de-cat so I just cut 4 slots in the end of it around 3 inches long then fitted 2 Mikalor clamps and it tightened/sealed up to the smaller pipe no problem, there should be reducers available though.

Cool thanks for the replies. I'm thinking just get a mufflerectomy done and let the exhaust place worry about it ;)

An exhaust place will easily be able to sort it mate :)

Oh and also I am reluctant to put the price up as it 'may' vary from customer to customer but it was very good and they are great people to deal with! :)
