Two Tone Yeti

Featured Replies

My 1.2 TSI Manual has just arrived.

I ordered Black Roof/Cappucino body,Silver Roof Bars.

My Dealer was so impressed with these Colours he said he is going to Order,

a Demonstrater model same combination of Colours.

I know it is a matter of taste, but get the wrong combination and you are landed with it,

I got my Son to colour in images on his computer, then took a chance.

I have yet to see any Two Tone Yeti around at the moment

Mine was two tone, Blue top half, brown bottom half - until I washed it yesterday.... I was hoping the Mayans' were correct and it was going to save me the job.... :giggle:

Foto required!

I would have loved a black roof on mine to go with the other black bits! Sadly it wasn't available when I got mine.

Please let us see a picture.

I have a two tone also didn't order it like that, just how it arrived.

Well that's real subtle not spotted it until you mentioned it; actually really like that combo B)

Bet the dealers got a shock when they removed the roof transit film :giggle:

Obviously our Fabia Monte Carlo is two tone; candy white with a black magic roof, which works well IMHO if not a bit 'run of the mill'

Two tone is the way to go - even if Tibetan Bronze with a black roof has been deemed the Duracell look.... :giggle:

Merry Christmas to all!

Oh I'm liking the duracell look a lot!

Mine's metallic green with a white roof - I like it!

Can we have some more pictures of two-tone models? I think some look rather good (bronze + black - I'd really like to see the capuccino + black), but I would be wary of ordering anythging I'd not actually seen. I'm thinking of replacing my current Yeti in March 2014 so think I ought to start my forward planning any time now, especially if a facelift in the meantime leads to extended delivery times again!

Pics, please! B)

+1 :hi:

Are you sure that this doesn't fit in the "16" wheels" option?

Just a note to help, the black roof is a perfect match in colour to the black plastic sides.

Sorry - been away for a while, here's mine (in a rather dirty state);

Here is my red/black roof'd Yeti purchased in March last year.

I really REALLY want some Matterhorns for it - I think they would match the roof perfectly. And I'd probably paint the mirrors black at the same time (or get those CF looking ones from SuperSkoda).

Sadly, Matterhorns weren't available as an option when I purchased, and to get them aftermarket would cost an arm, leg and kidney at the price Skoda Australia charge (AU$490 per wheel). If anyone wants to swap some Spitzbergs for Matterhorns and willing to send said Matterhorns to Australia (no idea how much it would cost - surely less than cost of new wheels), then let me know.

Merry Christmas to all!

I guess you've all seen the Duracells in this vid?

I watched the vid many times before placing the order - just to make sure I liked it! The Matterhorns then really finish it off (IMHO) although at the moment it is sitting on winters and (silver) Rifs....

Spotted this Elegance 170 in the SUK used car section.

Might also work with Matterhorns (or Moons ;):giggle: ) and for me anyway, I'd have stayed with black roof rails; not a fan of to much chrome or 'bling'.

Would have had this scheme with our yeti had it been available at the time, had to settle for roof moulding stripes instead.

I was very tempted by a white one with a black roof before I got my Green Yeti.

Agree with TP that it would look better with black roof rails, the silver rails always seem a bit 'half hearted' as the ends are black.

Love the annapurnas though best wheels ever (but I'm biased!)

Loving the white with black roof. Not sure I have the cahones to buy a white one myself although Skoda white does seem a really nice bright one.

Does anyone on here have a green with black roof or a muscavado with black roof? Also, really stoopid quick question but is a black roof £390 plus the price of metallic so £890 in total. Anyone wrapped their roof and did it save any money?

Yeah I have a muscovado with black roof, I really like the two tone look. It's an ex demonstrator so I can't help with the cost from new.

Cheers

Yes, they charge you more to paint the roof on top of the metallic cost.

Personally I'd wrap the roof.

When the fashion wears off or you change your mind you can remove it.
