Hello Skoda people! I just got myself a 2004 Fabia VRS ! It is my first diesel and so far must say im enjoying the car alot. Mine is fully standard and has 87k on it and seems to be in good nick and drives well.

Would really like to get some more power from the lil beast so would really appreciate some suggestions and also if anyone knows who is good for remaps in the Birmingham area?

A few small/cheap mods to start with:

- 6k HIDs (as mine unfortunately doesn't have the rare xenon options!),

- Black grill/Custom grill, maybe anyone can suggest a different aftermarket grill to buy?

- Cupra R splitter , cheapest place to find it?

- Light tints all round

- Remap in near future , recommendations?

- Might be looking to get a screamer pipe put on - Suggestions?

- Might think about a dump valve also any suggestions?

- FMIC (wishful thinking on my budget!)

Look forward to hearing peoples ideas and suggestions and thanks in advance guys!

I used a copy of this MSTD_EU_SK_P6230 MU0490 if anyone else needs, the site I think I had it from was mibsolution.one is currently down though. I was wary of the copy I had and passage of time, but it worked fine installed, I just have to clear the fault code ( have odbeleven but pro ran out and doesn't cover the adaption by looks of it) Excuse the state of my interior I don't use the car that much and could use a vaccuum.

Hey guys, I need to keep a 2kg fire extinguisher in my car due to legal requirements in Greece and I’m trying to figure out the best mounting spot. My main concern is securing it properly so it doesn’t rattle or move around while driving. I’d love to hear from anyone who’s dealt with this — where did you mount yours, and did you use a dedicated bracket or holder? Any tips on keeping it secure without damaging the interior would be great. Thanks in advance!

After dropping a wodge on the Outback for a new battery only for the tailgate issues to immediately recur and funnily enough for a internet search to suddenly (wasn't before) flag that there is a persistent and long standing Subaru issue with a parasitic battery drain via the telematics module. Basically the car continually tries to phone home and drains the battery, the tailgate control module is acutely sensitive to voltage meaning that if the car has sat for more than a day (sometime less) th

One is the reversable boot floor, carpet one side and a sort of plastic the other. Both items are in great condition too Second is a rear sun screen, it's a mesh material in a metal frame that you clip inside the hatch window, it keeps out a ton of heat and you can take it out for winter, you can't see into the car also. My 280 had tinted side windows but the rear glass was not done. Both are huge and would be prohibitively awkward to post. If you want either you WILL need to come to Swindon.

Hi I couldn't find any relevant previous threads other than this not helpful one for my situation https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/536808-odometer-mileage-has-gone-down-since-last-year/ Unfortunately the garage that did the first MOT for my 2023 Skoda Octavia 1.5 TSI e-TEC in February did not appreciate the distance on the odometer was km rather than miles (I have been taking the car a few times to Europe and had changed the distance display to metric and never thought of changing it back
