Replacing rear bulbs (outer set)

Featured Replies

Simple question hopefully: to replace the rear light bulbs that are not part of the reverse light four in the easily removed grey block, should I be removing the light cluster itself, and accessing from there, or is it accessible from boot? Car is a pre fl estate. Any advice be great thanks

From when I did it in the past, I dont recall removing the cluster but I do remember it being a right pain in the **** as you need small hands.

Oh joy, thanks. The cluster seems to have just the four bolts, is that correct?? There's not a hidden one anywhere is there?

if its similar to the hatch you pull back the carpet cover to the back of the light housing and remove the plastic bulb holder to access the bulbs.

Its a 10 minute job tbh. In the hatch I found unpluging the interior boot light makes things much easier

Ok cheers, will try shortly, shame its not the one of the four that's easily accessed that has gone...
