wheels look ok tho :giggle:

Could polish out, but I doubt it. Probably been nicked, as there's only one key, too, but I could be wrong.

"CATERGORY B RECORDED

(YOU HAVE TO GO THROUGH SAME PROCEDURE AS A CAT C CARS, REQUIRES VIC TEST, YOU CAN PUT IT BACK ON ROAD)"

Ahem, cat B means spare parts only.... I've told the person. This does mean Richard's car is yet another fiver up in value due to rarity. £10 in total now....

Cat B, not seeing the road again in other words unless its re-shelled

Thats bloody tragic seeing that, hope the occupants were ok.

According to the ad the car "starts up and drives"

Do these have smic or is that an oil cooler?

Looks like the bonnet raisers have gone off - several thousand repair bill right there! :D

When someone writes garbage like "no timewasters" I'm always tempted to go and do exactly that.

How on God's earth is that heap of twisted metal 'repairable' ?

I certainly wouldn't want a lift in it afterward. The seller is obviously a parts retailer. Looks like he's bought this mess for parts, realised nearly every part on it is ***ked, so he's trying to sell it as a project. Good luck with that......

3.5k without any of the actual damage.

Every cloud... ?)

Oddly, when I went from the 2010 car to the later spec 2011 my insurance went down over 10 percent.

Seems a lot of the earlier cars are being bought, driven inappropriately and crashed.

The orange one in the field was an 09, as is this and most of the GT-Rs coming up on Copart...

Oil cooler.

That's brilliant! I'd like to know how long it's been standing, it's rusty as hell.

Oil cooler.

Thanks :)

It's only any good for parts anyway, the repairs would cost a fortune as Nissan have a special GT-R tax on all the bits.

Just the A pillar outside trims that go over the door can be £900 each...

Over a grand for the front splitter as it includes part of the undertray...

Not to mention it's quoted as worth £40k.

They are now selling nearer £35k in good condition as the 09 models are the only ones without the Nav and USB, which makes them not only the oldest UK spec cars, but also the least desirable.

There is no way you could put this back on the road for £20k, and even then it'd be worth less due to the history if you could reshell and get it though a VIC.

Hmmmm wonder what else you couple shoe horn that lump into ???????

Well in forza it fits into a datsun sunny, now that would be cool........ Sometimes i forgot the diffrence between a game and real life:(

Not a lot, unless you just sit the body on top like they did with the Juke-R.

Having the engine in the front, a large gearbox in the back and more electronics than you can shake a stick at means it's going to be tricky.

It's a 5m long car and there is not a lot of space inside between the engine and box.

With my driving seat comfortable rear passengers have about 5mm of legroom.

Deleted.......stupid comment in light of above

I'd like to see him put that lump in the Citigo :)

The word "understeer" springs to mind. :D

Not to mention I'd need a bonnet the same length as the rest of the car...

I know you are only joking anyway. :)

Seen this pop up on another forum. Possibly the same car that was involved in a fatal crash in the autumn of 2012...

And as has been said, you can get them now for £30k+ so why you'd spend that on a totally fubar'd one is beyond me!

I always thought 'death cars' had to be scrapped - end of, no buy backs etc?

Not sure. Not a cert that its the same car but thats the rumour.

Either way, I can think of spending over £15k in a lot more better ways!
