Team Heko Wind deflectors,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Featured Replies

any good are they? Only I woke up this morning, checked my emails and it seems I bought a set of four on ebay at around 3am (after a few beers I might add) :drunk: Still they were <£30 pound delivered from Towquipe  Anyone had any issues fitting them or with them cracking or falling off at a 'brisk' pace on the motorway?

I've had mine for nearly 2 years and had no problems

I bought a pair from that seller a few weeks ago, they arrived next day and are well worth it.

I have a set... They're great, just make sure to fit as per instructions, and leave for a couple of days. Mine kept setting off the window auto reopen feature...

I bought the same on 27th and got them 2 days later!! Great stuff :)

Cheers Guys. Looks like drunken ebay buys are the way forward :D

ive had mine around 6 months although i used no more nails double sided tape all the way along the deflector then put it into the channel and leave the window up for 48 hours just to let it set. Holds fine :)

i've had mine for couple of months now, no issues with window sensors, did manage to slightly break one, only a piece broke off, just follow instructions on paperwork. look nice, set car off and you can open windows in the rain a bit and not get wet. can't fault them.

I think that's the sole reason I wanted some, pi55ed off getting wet when I've got a fag on the go :D

I've got a set of 4 on my SE. Can't fault them. Fitting is spot on and no issues with the clips.

£30 is a fair price. Think I paid £29.99 from eBay.

I had some on my 206 too, had them on for 4 years, again no issues.

I had some, they looked great. Then they were stolen... :swear:

there's some ****bags out there, sorry bud :(

Well, got in about an hour ago and they were here waiting for me. Have to say, VERY prompt service/ delivery from Towequipe. Ordered on new years morning, here on the 3rd  They look good and I'll fir 'em at the weekend after I've given the car a wash (weather permitting)!

Been looking at these for my car since I only have 2

windows that open and black tinted rears... I can get a set for £26.

Hmmm. Not that I ever smoke in my car mind.... The van is a different story.

I'm tempted to get a set even though I don't smoke and nobody is allowed to smoke in the car anyway :)

they were 29.90 for a set of four, inc delivery. Very decent price IMHO. I'll put some pics on here when fitted

Haha Im just hoping for a good price being I'm 20 now :)

I don't smoke either, in the summer they're great, as you can have some air in the car without the wind! Although now having air-con I don't know how useful they'll be!

Fitted them today, 10 minute job. Pushed the clips in tight with a flat head screwdriver, no probs with the windows coming back down automatically after lowering/ raising them several times.

get some, Garry. Took it for a short spin and the difference is quite noticeable.

they do take a bit of getting used too when driving ie the a post pillar drivers side. now used to looking through the wind deflector, well worth buying.

This hadn't occurred to me, good point.

This is what I noticed in a mates car, I also struggled when I first got a car since all I'd ridden was motorbike so was used to clear view, you don't realise how much the A pillars really do restrict your vision

took me all of 5 minutes to adjust so not a problem.

On another note, fuel consumption has dropped and there's an increase of ~35Bhp so all's good
