As I'm sure many other owners have in the past.

Well now we know the answer.

That's the only reason I bought them rob scientific experimentation.

To be fair if I took out the passenger seat I reckon I could get a 4th set of wheels in there bringing the total up to 16 :D

And then there is the roof.....

Why????

I refurbed and sold a set of 16" spiders but held on to the 55 profile tyres for use on track days.

The Golf wheels I have on the car now also came with 55 profile tyres I held on to.

And finally I bought a set of track wheels this week which also came with 55 profile tyres.

That meant I'd amassed a dozen 55 profile tyres in my garage which after careful consideration were completely useless to me!

(you don't really want incorrectly sized tyres on for extreme use at a track day do you?!)

As such i will be trading them in at my local part worn tyre place to hopefully swap for some 45 profile tyres.

The only way I have of getting them there is the Fabia.

Originally I planned to do two trips but it seems you can in fact get a dozen 205/55/16 tyres in a Fabia.

 Tread carefully, if you're unlucky it could all go out of balance and leave you feeling very deflated.

Indeed pics 2 & 3 do have only 10 tyres in.

At that point I thought I was going to have to bail and put 2 on the front seat however I squeezed them n top of the piles behind the front seats.

All proved worthwhile and of the 12 tyres 7 were actually good enough to sell on so I swapped those 7 for one of the bridgestones I already had put back.

Clear out the garage and get a free tyre? Yes please

The 1st pic shows 12 tyres - 8 on back seat, 4 in Boot.

From the pics, I recognise, 2 Toyo T1-Rs and 2 Pirelli P6000, I'm not sure of the rest of them.

I noticed that too..................

Start new thread..............."name the tyre from a picture of the tread pattern"?............ :giggle:

Whilst I imagine the Fabia can hold a similar amount to an Ibiza of the same age...

So if you ever wondered if you can fit 22 packs (iirc) of hard wood flooring into your car, yes yes you can!

Ignore the Christmas theme ;)

Yep indeed T1-Rs x2 and P6000s x 4

2 x Kendra Kestral (or Kestral Kendra?)

2 x Kormoran Gamma B2

2 x Goodyear Eagle NCT

I'd have been concerned if you'd identified those!

CHEAT CHEAT CHEAT

That's a roomster!

Well, I see your tyres, flooring and booze, and raise you:

Fully cased Tama Starclassic drum kit with hardware and cymbal cases, drum carpet roll, one hard cased guitar, one soft cased bass guitar, a weekend bag, an office chair, a small amp, box of bits and a passenger...in a Polo 6N2 :p
