just a little ugrade help

Featured Replies

alright guys i just have a few questions on a few things i want to do to my car as its the new year :)

firstly with standard fabia vrs 16in wheels with tyre sizes of 205~45~16 what is the best wheel spacers to put on without the damn things rubbing.

secondly where is a decent place to get a de~cat pipe from or any suggestions on what to get would be very helpful.

and thirdly a cat back exhaust system that will allow more noise and more room for the good stuff trying to escape.

now i know iv put the de~cat pipe and the cat back exhaust system in two different points but if someone knows of a exhaust thats half decently priced with a de~cat then fire away :)

thanks guys chris

Exhaust wise i can recommend Piper. See posts on here - they offer forum discount as well. The decat has a reducer included to run with standard cat back as well if you want to do that. Ive got the full turbo back decat, with one silencer and it sounds great. Not loud on normal driving at all, but sounds great on full chat with the Hybrid turbo ive got :)

Spacers depends how much you want them poking out tbh. 20mm would maybe give a nice bit of extra poke without catching the arch if your low.

As for the exhaust, piper all day long for me. To build quality, decent price. They do no box option for lots of noise or one box that I have which sounds spot on.

Piper de-cat is amazing quality. Fits to the standard system (with a bit of persuasion!) and gives you a good upgrade path to the full system.

Piper

I'm running 20mm rear spacers and 15mm front spacers, I get no scrubbing however I would advise at least front mudflaps.

I'm thinking of changing my front spacers for smaller ones since I'm fed up of the side of the car being splattered with tar!
