body wrapping a Vrs - Colour choice etc ; )

Featured Replies

Long story short, I am able to have my Yellow Vrs fully viynal wrapped in march, It's to be used as a demo vehicle, but I have a full choice of finish/colour :)

the link below gives the 15 limited edition colours, but there's 33 others including matt white and matt grey, gloss pearls etc;

I'm digging the look of Matt anthracite metallic, there's also a pearl white which I think could look wicked...

Any views?? (oh, and I'm not going matt black as it's been done to death)

  • I wanted this colour for my new one but skoda uk wouldn't play ball. I also wanted the totty too but my wife wouldn't play ball.

  • Is the colour it should have left the factory in not available, Race Blue!?

  • (Yes I know it's already been plastered all over Briskoda) but here's my car. Matt black wrapped by myself.

I'd leave it yellow.

I'd leave it yellow.

There is a yellow wrap and a matt yellow wrap, but I'm thinking more along the lines of......

+1 if i get an octy or golf gti im planning on wrapping it this couler, should look awesome

Has to be "Perfect Pink"

Orange would be quality just to see one with black wheels and have a badge made "OrangeLine"

Matt orange metallic for me!

Brushed alli?

It would be nice to see something different.

On another forum I see a lot of wrapped cars.

Orange and matt black are a little bit too popular there, so I went for yellow with a light tinge of green.

Look into long term viability, different finishes can look good but you don't want something hard to care for.

Battleship grey. Google the pics of the skoda vRS+ concept from a couple of years ago.

Let the photoshop nerds go to work on this one!

Would rather keep it yellow, but then I have never been one to follow the hurd.

there's one that's close, but I won't be going down that road...... there's a light pastel 'french' blue and lot's of other blue's, and a metallic gloss indigo. Some of the Gloss finishes look close to factory paint finshes when applied properly.

There are a number of gloss greys, including a dark battleship type colour and also a light one.

To be honest, I'm not going to be going for a bright 'in you face colour' as by having the car wrapped I'll be able to keep it and use it for my new job after being made redundant (which will happen in the 3 - 6 months). I'll be going back to visiting clients at home, and a bright yellow car is not ideal for that in my line of work.

If I was going for a lairy 'show car' type finish, there's a colour that's basically Kawasaki green :)

I'll ask my wife about the care requirements, as she runs a sales team that sells this stuff to the Wrappers. hence me being a very lucky boy and getting the car wrapped for free as part of a 'workshop/demo' by the people who train the wrappers how to apply it.

I was also thinking pearl white could be stunning, a bit like this ...

Yeah Golf R's everywhere you look lol

Well I'm guessing the following the crowd comment was aimed at the 'race blue' post specifically rather than me? that's how I read it anyway.

Personally, I'd love a Golf R, very smart

It's very likely to be a shade of matt metallic grey, possibly a gloss grey (not like the Ltd ed grey) or maybe Matt or Pearl white... as far as I'm aware it'll be unique in the uk. Probably going to keep the 19 BBS on it and get them refurbed in a colour to contrast the new body colour. I'll also get around to getting it on coilovers ;)

Correct. I reckon yellow looks great so not sure why you'd want to wrap but I suppose as a temporary change....

cos;

1) it's free

2) my job will be changing - which means I will need to visit clients at home again, and it's a bit 'in your face' as it is.

3) I've seem some fantastic results from wrapping

4) I fancy something totally unique

5) .....did I mention it was free ?? ;)

I've only just got a new job as an interior design consultant, and regularly need to do home visits to clients! At least they will know it's you turning up? :D

I look forward to seeing your FREE colour change!

Leon

Keep us updated with the wrap though!
