hi, does anyone know if I can open the fog light housing? Today I notice that one of my fogs wasn't as reflective as the other...turns out that one has a lot of black looking/burned?/dirt. The bulb is ok. Don't want to waste my time taking it out and finding I need to buy a replacement, would rather have the part first if need be. cheers!

if they're stuck together maybe a bit of heat? Hairdryer or put them in the oven.

It's very simple to remove the lamp on your car, pop fog grille

off and undo the 2 screws then unplug. Not a bumper off job like the vRS.

Fairly sure I have a spare one somewhere, what side is it?

it could be a blackened bulb reflecting giving the impression of a burn lamp. The bulbs do go black over time, although I have not seen that with fogs in the past due to the fact they should have very rare usage.

Just had a check and I still have an OE used RH lamp complete here.

PM me if that's any good and we'll sort out a price.

Whoops, just realised yours will have the 'triangular' lamp unless

you have a facelift bumper fitted.

May be no good for you after all. Don't know if they are a bumper off job either.

thanks all, i got the fog light out easily, the bulbs on both sides seem fine but i chnaged them both for news ones anyway while i was there...it seems something previously, a bulb had burned and has left black markings on the rear reflector which was why it was very bright. All the wiring seems fine. Can't seem to opening it so I will most likely need to get a replacement.
