Replaced console bushes

Featured Replies

Just got the vRS back after having the console bushes changed. Standard bushes replaced with solid Cupra ones.

The car is now how it should have been from new. Why didn't Skoda fit these from new?

Makes the rear arb seem more effective.

Big thank you to Vag-Tech in Milton Keynes for great service.

How much was the labour cost? need this done myself.

It was £327 all in. Parts, labour, 4 wheel allignment and VAT.

I think you need a press of some description to push the bushes out and the new ones in.

Ouch. That is very expensive. (just my opinion obviously)

However, as long as you are happy with the difference it made to the car. Made a big difference to mine when I had them done.

Cupra bushes 30 quid, labour for me when I did some for someone 2hrs, even a stealer should only have been 200 quid. Man I'm glad your happy, cos I'd be pure raging. Oh and said tool is a thread with a nut and large washer each end, made mine from hardware store for a fiver

got a price in front of me from Skoda down here, using Gen bushes, £168 inc parts. Parts are ~£9.50/ bush. Four wheel alignment and VAT must be another £160 :p I went with an indy in the end, £120+VAT and I supplied the bushes.
