hello guys hope all is well and everyone had a nice christmas and new year!

right ive kind of made the regret of the centry selling my fabia VRS! private plate S80VRS tints pd 160 instake green panel filter and a custom remap from jabba etc etc etc!

now i have been looking for something abit more powerful but as standerd! ive been looking at the 2.0 140 150s and the 2.0 170!?

and ive read up on this sort of thing before but i hear there are problems with these engine models, filters, injectors etc which i still dont understand!

has the problem been fixed at all? are there actually any that run properly?

i keep hearing the problem have been fixed but what year was this? im planning on getting a seat or golf with the 170 engine inside.

would anyone be able to tell me, and give any advice/facts on when this problem was corrected!? what year etc. ive heared the engine have code numbers does anyone know the safe one!?

sorry for the long winded post and im sure many people have asked this question before!? but for my own piece of mind i just thought id raise it up again and make sure the responces are from this year!
