The op wanted to Either swap or sell his interior

I have my fabia sport interior which is in really good condition with no rips or burns I'm ideally looking to swap it for a vrs interior in the same condition with no rips wear or burn like my sport seats I,m located in derby I don't mind traveling to far to view other seats

I can upload pics tomorrow as its dark but I'm sure you all know the sport seats are the same style as vrs seats just black

I wouldn't be against that as a deal sweetener myself.....65 mi away but would meet part way too and my set are pretty neat from a 2006 car, unripped undamaged and always managed to kept pretty clean TBH. No sprogs, frequent passengers or animals to mess up the back.

I was thinking of leather but this isn't a bad option and lot cheaper

It was a general thing - it sniffed of something odd going on behind the scenes.

I much prefer proper for sale threads with a price & pics in the first post, and then "SOLD" when sold.

I'm not quite sure what's happening with this now.

I would still like the seats but it seems this whole thing is getting very complicated.

I dont think its shady, nor complicated but you can interpret it how you see fit. I certainly don't see any lines been crossed ???

In defense of the seller/trader, he is putting his car back to standard and whats to make sure he gets what he wants, and no doubt spoken to a few people to ensure that he gets the trade he wants.

Being completely honest I have sent some pics but have yet to get 100% confirmation he wants them, he may want to see mine in person still and that has yet to be arranged

They certainly aren't guaranteed to me so I think he is just biding his time to take a look at a few sets. Isn't that his perogative ?

Who sets the rules to say that having paid good money on here as Freedom members that we can't trade according to our own wishes ?

True its simpler when people do straight sold ads, but thats not what everyone wants to do - this ad being one. Just my opinion and I won't spit my dummy if he choses to trade with someone else. I kind of agreed with Adam but then you went and contradicted your last post for some reason. Christ !

If the OP has got some preference though then I agree it might help diffuse things a bit if it was clear which sets he was interested in and which not perhaps

Just to clarify, the only reason I think its getting complicated is because the Mod, having read the thread has managed to get the idea that there is something shady going on.

True, I just thought things got a bit out of hand with suggestion of misdealings

Although I think it would be useful if like you said the intention became more clear. I've already made some attempts to cleaned up my set further to satisfy the OP for a clean undamaged set but haven't heard anything concrete like any possible meet up yet so rest assured I'm in exactly the same boat as anyone else.

In response to position on the seats he does seem to confirm solid interest in mine I am glad to hear he is considering my seats

As a result we are provisioning to meet next weekend, so I am hoping that I will get them (hopefully) at his discretion

Anyone out there with them horrible leather seats want to swap(with cash) for my beautiful standard Vrs seats just give me PM and I will take the horrible disgusting things off you

Having met this guy in person and seeing his sport seats (he bought an exhaust off me and met up) he is a genuine guy. Not sure why any deals may have fallen though but i can confirm he does have sport seats which are in very very good condition fitted to his silver vrs.

WOW that's a bit harsh, where did that come from.
