Rear diffusor and tailpipe added to 1.2 TSI DSG

Featured Replies

Wanted to add some style to the rear :)

New badges, diffusor and tailpipe...

There is a OEM spoiler producer in Istanbul. I learned that they have Fabia Sport diffusor. It is cheap, £ 50 (including matte paint finish and fitting), diffuser is made of polyester.

Than I bought a stainless steel tailpipe for £ 30.

And the final look :)

Looks good :) im adding the genuine skoda tip to my monte week after next :)

Great result! Much better now.

Looking good mate

Not to dissimilar from my Vrs milltek tail pipes

Sorry for the noob questions but how did you fit the diffuser? Did you cut away some material from the rear fender and then mounted it?

It looks very nice btw :)

Very nice result. I really like it.

Diffusor was mounted using only black polyurethane mastic (a type of strong silicone).

The only place we cut was the tailpipe recess of the bumper.

Hello!

Your car looks realy nice!

I wonder if there is any site on web that i can find more details about this product.?

It seems to fit very well in fabia!

It is the replica of 2008 Fabia Sport diffusor, same mold, exact copy :)

The seller is from Turkey http://www.spoylercenter.com/urun.asp?id=103

You can but a tail pipe ffrom various places. But the one used in the pic of the yellow skoda is a genuine one.

To fit to the fabia 1.2 tsi it will require cutting the original tail pipe plus bumper of spliter

Is this possible on a TDI Monte Carlo ? I thought was just a dummy tailpipe to give a sporty look.

Cheers

I believe so it will be similer to this

If someone wants a genuine rear difuser cheap Startin Skoda had one in stock that was ordered for a Monte but of course doesn't fit. They might look to get rid of it cheap.

Not sure I'm a fan of this look tbh. It's abit weird having the tailpipe inside the boot. I'd imagine the fumes in the cabin would be fairly choking ;-)

On the Monte TSI is the tailpipe straight rather than drooping as it is on the TDI ? which makes fitting the Skoda tail trim impossible on the TDI Monte!

This is what I wanted for mine but it cant be fitted as my tailpipe droops!!

why dosnt it fit the Monte? my dealer said they do and would need to be fitted inconjuction with the sport tail trim!

The exhaust tail pipe needs cutting both TSI and TDI pipes point downward.

i bet thats not easy cutting the tailpipes,

i bet thats not easy cutting the tailpipes,

If you are talking about doing it yourself no it will not be easy - but for a garage it will be just a 15min job.

Yep, not a DIY job.

But easy job at the dealer with angle grinder or oxy-acetylene welding

Cutted

I watch a guy do it with hacksaw on a yeti, i have a mate in the body shop doing mine, as need to cut in to the bumper and splitter

That looks great, particularly on a white Fabia imo. Bargain mod for that price. :)
