Bike carbs were better than 45's I had but I didnt know much about them at the time and throttle bodies were silly money so stuck with the webbers and when I ended up selling it to a mate,he got rid of the carbs and went back to standard set up as he didn't like the fuel consumption lol and I was pretty low but nowhere near my octy lows lol

Genuine m3 electric mirrors

And check out the boot install,yes that's right it's a VCR lol

But genuinely wish I'd left it standard looking and kept it clean like the one over the page that your tempted by,it does look nice and can see why your attracted to it

1 grey 4x4 with a 2.5 lump. Mega fun

My favourite and wish I'd kept it and fitted the planned let engine :(

Was one of the first to run 18's and was told due to it being too low (100mm) they'd never fit. Several big companies even refused to sell me them haha, good job my bro was in the trade!

Looked totally standard apart from limo tints

complete opposite to me mine was bare metal track spec :giggle: loved it vcr lmfao

 

cant beat the sound of carbs,as i said was making my own itb using bike bodies but ecu was just to pricey 200bhp for 2-3k isint worth it unless your gonna go all the way to 280ish but that is mega dollar!

Not slow surprisingly. Was an awesome drift weapon lol.

Slabs are cool if your keeping it totally original, mine came with rough cesaro's on so where always gonna be changed

well peoples slow vary i think stage 2 octys are gutless and hybrid octys soon but i guess that could be fun

 

yeah very few std looking gsi left so main i reason i kept std bar the lows,i even spent ages looking for square tips eventually welded these on almost bang on!

Mine would've wiped the floor with both my old mk1 vrs and the current mk2. I did the same with the tailpipes lol. Looked at getting another before I brought the vr6 but I couldn't find a decent one.

I had the astra gte 16v with 45s and the bonnet vent, as you say, cut out to feed the carbs,lol. No airfilters, fuel pump in the boot!

Cracking engines those, mine used to spit flames out of the trumpets on start up! and had no rev limiter!!

That may look chav now, but would have looked awesome in the day.

Ive still got one of those 12volt vcr's in my loft!

These vrs aren't that quick in standard form imo, it was running 180bhp ish.

Should've brought a vr6. Not that quick but they sound awesome lol

celica tsport(thought they were quick at the time)

VR6(the noise)

CTR(because thier so hyped up)

cav turbo but none around at the time

so went out to buy one of them drove home in an octy still cant get my head round it
