Fabia 1.4mpi Poor running 1st O2 sensor sits at 1.150 - 1.275v

Featured Replies

Hello

Please can someone help

My car has no been running right for a while. The EML came on and pointed to the 1st O2 sensor. Got it replaced. Came back on again with Coolant Temp sensor and O2 sensor 1. Noticed the Thermostat had broken. Replaced Thermostat and running at correct Temp when before it was running cold. Have not had EML on for a while. Smells like it is running rich, but there is not much guts when accelerating.

When running Idle i see the following

Keep changing from Open loop to Closed loop

LT FTRML +8 - +10

ST FTRML -3

O2 sensor 1 1.150v - 1.275

O2 sensor 2 0.5v

At 2500 rpm

Keep changing from Open loop to Closed loop

LT FTRML 0 - +2

ST FTRML -3

O2 sensor 1 1.150v - 1.275v

O2 sensor 2 0.5v - 1v

As my 1st O2 sensor has been replaced then I hope this is OK. Why would it be such a high voltage 1.150v - 1.275?

Any ideas? Thanks

Did you get anywhere with your problem?

Did you disconnect the battery & reset the ECU?

the ECU may have learnt incorrect values and is now messing with the fueling.

There is a thread on how to do it
